in Oak Soft buffalo leather with brushed gold hardware

The iconic Alexa is an easy to carry satchel style than can be worn on the shoulder or across the body.

Details -

Lightly carried and crafted from a particularly lovely, rich oak hide, the top flap is just beginning to develop that wonderful creasiness that soft buffalo does so well.

No wear to the leather, corners are perfect and inking all excellent. Hardware is also very good with a small area of tarnish to the Postmans Lock Plate on the upper RH side and some wear around the turnlock hole (see Photo Gallery below).

The plait top handle is firm and the detachable strap excellent also, with just one small scuff to the very end, near the Dog Clip fastner.

A small and very light mark to the lower front of the bag, the main reason this Lexy hasn't achieved an Excellent rating is the stitching to the RH side of the interior pocket. Lined in clean, Mulberry tree repeat fabric, one side of the pocket has been 'concealed' stitched and the other hasn't, (see Photograph below). This does not affect the bag structurally or aesthetically and unless inspecting closely, it would pass unnoticed.
