in smooth touch soft polished leather with gunmetal and black hardware.

At first glance this fabulous lexy appears to be in a super condition. All the black enamel studs are perfect and the gunmetal rivets all scratch free and in place.

Decorative tassle present, the leather is excellent...a very matte finish with a fine grain, its heavenly to the touch and suprisingly robust for such a soft hide. Thick, supple and whilst not a completely 'structured' lexy, its one that will hold its own shape and not become too slouchy with use.

Inking is all perfect, stitching strong and the interior is lined in lovely, dense black suede, just showing a few light usage marks.

Unfortunately, the black enamelled Postmans Lock Plate has sustained surface scratching, as have the metal tipped strap ends. The base plate shows minor friction rubbing and the underneath of the top plate extensive scratching, (see Photo Gallery below).

The main point to note is a scratch to the leather on the base LH corner piping which has broken the surface. Only a shallow surface scuff, (piping has not been reached or exposed) it extends up the side as shown.

None of these issues are particularly noticable in use, (and the close up photos do make them look much worse than IRL) the corner scuff inparticular is extremely well camoflagued and does not affect the bag structurally or aesthetically. This has been reflected in the price however.
