Crafted from a particularly lovely, thick and grainy hide, this beautiful Bayswater is one that will age and wear extremely well.

A Mulberry favourite, Natural Leather is tanned using a natural vegetable tanning technique. The soft leather retains the individual grain pattern of the skin, and is left untreated. This beautiful skin ages wonderfully, taking on unique patina with age and use

Carried on only a few occassions, there's no wear, corners and inking are excellent, shoulder straps are well shaped and handle bases unsoftened.

The postmans lock plate is excellent as are the underneath plates, showing no fruction rubs or scratches whatsoever. The turnlock and base feet, however, do display scratching.

The interior is self lined in clean suede with some ruffling to the top flap and the reason for the 'Sub' classification is a slightly indented line in the grain of the hide to the front RH side of the bag, (see Photo below). The leather is is likely to relax and soften with time and use so this imperfection will blend and become less visible.

However, the main reason for the bag not attaining an 'Excellent' rating is a single missing stitch to the rear LH patch on the base on which the foot sits. This does not affect the bag structurally or aesthetically.
