This is a 100% authentic Mulberry regular sized Alexa

in Black Lambskin Plonge with Python Trim and shiny dark silver hardware.

 

A seasonal edition, this luscious lexy has some serious attitude. Incredibly soft, ultra matte, textured plonge lambskin contrasting against the glossy, snake print trim.... its one of those bags you want to caress and stroke, but looks like it could bite back.

Details -

A wonderfully slouchy silhoutte, this lexy has lots of signs of use but overall her wear is relatively little!

The tactile lambskin leather has just two slighter 'matte' marks to the LH side on the base, one about 5mm round and the other about 2mm, so really barely there. The reverse of the bag is only very slightly dry from the rubbing against clothes when worn, which is virtually imperceptible. I have angled the bag to try and show this but its extremely slight.

The corners show only the lightest rubbing, as is inevitable with this finish (and for a bag this loved, is almost insignificant!)

The inking has flexed at the back of the top aperture where the flap attaches and is dry to the edge of the plait top handle and detachable shoulder strap.

The plait top handle is firm and unworn and though the long strap is softened, there's no stretching or creasing.

The python trim is very good also, with just general movement to the scales. Very little 'lifting' and none missing, again you can tell this bag has been cared for very well.

Lots of scratches between the lockplates, the Postmans Lock Plate displays hairline scratches and general use, as does the dog clips on the strap and D rings.

The interior is fully lined in clean Mulberry tree repeat fabric with a side zipped security pocket and leather trimmed slip pocket.
