Mulberry Ledbury in Oak Natural Leather (ref B7) - SOLD

This is an unused, 100% authentic Mulberry Ledbury

in Oak Natural leather with antiqued brass hardware.

The precursor to the Small Bayswater Satchel, made without the shoulder strap, the Ledbury is a perfectly proportioned, compact day bag.

Crafted from a wonderfully thick, rich oak hide...this is a bag that will grow even lovelier with age and use.

Details -

Protective film in place on postmans lock and base plate, this Ledbury has been stored since purchase.

A few light, fingernail scuffs to the hide on the reverse, LH side near the base and a small semi-circular mark to the RH rear handle base, (present from purchase).

As is often seen on this design, the handle bases impress onto the top flap where they rest against the leather.

All stitching and inking is in place and the interior is self lined with an inside slip pocket, (not zipped)

The main point to note is the base seems to have been made from a slightly darker batch* of leather which has mellowed at a different rate to the rest of the bag. Very inconspicuous as-is, this is likely to blend when the bag is exposed to UV.
