Hermés 35cm Birkin in Marron Fonce Box Leather with Brushed Palladium Hardware - SOLD

This is an exquisite, 100% authentic Hermés 35cm Birkin in Marron Fonce Box leather with Special Order, Brushed Palladium Hardware.

The iconic Hermés crafted in a gloriously glossy, bitter chocolate shade with reddish undertones. Not quite as dark as ebene but does look almost black in some lights.....just stunning.

 Details -

Very lightly carried, the form and overall condition of this bag is superb.

As is inevitable from first use, the incredibly smooth and finely grained hide will show fingernail scuffs and approx 10 can be noted in total. A small cluster on the reverse middle of the bag, a few to the base and one near the upper LH side, (all shown in the Photo Gallery below).

The corners display some slight lightening and extremely minor scuffing, much less visible to the naked eye than the close up photos makes these appear.

Some very slight and shallow, dot sized impressions to the base and the feet show surface scratching, no tarnish or oxidisation.

Top handles and firm, well shaped and the edging is intact throughout with only very minor drying to the very edges as shown.

The reason for the *rating is the hairline scratches to the handles, caused by the claw set diamond ring of the previous owner. Four of these very thin 'slices' can be noted on close inspection if you angle the handles away from the light to view. These have been reflected in the price.

Entirely clean interior with a zip pocket and slip section.
