This is a 100% authentic Mulberry Alfie Messenger

in chocolate Pebbled leather with antique brass hardware.

 

A large, soft-sided, unisex messenger bag, crafted from a dark chocolate, thick and wonderfully textured, supple hide.
 
Set the two front buckles to the setting of your choice and then you can just pop the ball-staff closures open to access. Two side pockets with ball-staff closures provide additional organisation, (there are no internal pockets to the bag)
 
Ideal as a work bag or carry-on luggage, its more than ample as an overnighter too.
 
 
 
 
 
Details -
A wonderfully robust leather, not stiff or structured but with that nicely solid feel that reassures you its a Mulberry that will just last and last.
 
Super condition, the leather to the main body of the bag is pristine, without marks, scratches or scuffs.
 
The front base corners display some very light surface rubbing though the rear too are perfect.
 
Stitching and tie-in points are all strong and tight and inking (edge sealant) is intact throughout, though dry and a little crackled to the sides of the top aperture.
 
Hardware is excellent with its natural aged look that compliments the bag wonderfully.
 
The wide, leather and webbed strap is adjustable and can be worn on the shoulder or cross body equally as comfortably. A gentle sit impression can be seen where the buckle has been previously set.
 
The interior is clean but shows ruffling as is inherent with this hide. Some small blue pen squiggles to the internal front wall, can be noted on close inspection.
