At first glance this stunning bag looks like its nearly new. Crafted from a beautiful, rich caramel toned, supple oak hide, its fabulous creases just beginning....it will develop into the most wonderfully textured and slouchy bag with time and use.

A barely there, small mark to the front LH side of the top flap, the remainder of the leather is pristine. No marks, scratches, scuffs or any evidence of use. The corners are perfect.

The reason for the *rating is purely due to the soft gold components which show commonly seen discolorations. Visible on the tree embossed rivet on the top LH side of the bag, and on one strap end clip, this is a very common feature of this hardware and is not any sort of loss or flaking.

Strap tip ends and D rings are excellent. The undersides of the flap plates show no wear but there are scratches to the sides of the turnlock and some very minor friction rubbing around the turnlock hole on the Postmans Lock Plate.

The interior is lined in entirely clean Mulberry tree fabric with a side zipped pocket and leather trimmed slip section. The inside of the top flap is lined in soft toffee coloured suede.

There is some light ruffling to the rear interior seam, where the leather joins the fabric, just behind the zip pocket, as shown in the photos above.
