This is a 100% authentic Mulberry Bayswater

in 'Pink' soft tumbled grain Leather with shiny silver hardware.

A gentle, neutral, nude shade with taupe undertones, its a colour that complements so many others.

A rare design of Bayswater to now find, fully lined in a robust herringbone grossgrain with a leather lined top flap, the soft, tactile hide is just wonderful. Thick, supple and squidgy with a matt texture, its gentle shape and lovely curves are complimented by the chunky style postmans lock. If stiff leather is not for you, this Bays will be absolutely perfect.

Details-

A lovely, slouchy hide that will puddle deliciously when empty, the leather is thick and robust and there's no wear whatsoever.

Corners are perfect, stitching all strong and the contrast milk-chocolate inking, (edge sealent) is intact throughout.

As is commonly seen on these pieces, there are light surface impressions on the top flap from the handle bases and there is also a surface impression* to the front, LH side of the bag, near the base, from being stored against the turnlock.

The pliable, rolled leather shoulder straps are super comfy to wear and as this Bayswater weighs in at just over 1kg its a relatively light one to carry.

The feature front lock is excellent with only a few light hairline scratches and the turnlock shows no wear. The base plate is similarly excellent though the underside of the top plate displays light friction rubbing and a little loss of finish around the screw heads, (see Photo above).

The interior is entirely clean, lined in strong, herringbone grossgrain with two extra large, leather trimmed slip pockets to one side and a zip pocket to the other. The zip pull is slightly dulled from age.

The reverse side of the top flap is lined in leather with a pale* area just below the LH side of the lock plate. Not particularly noticable in use, this has been reflected in the price.
