Louis Vuitton Trompe L'Oeil Pochette with dark aged brass hardware.

From the Fall/Winter 2004 collection, "Trompe L'Oeil" literally means "trick of the eye" in French, which pays homage to a style of painting that gives an illusion of photographic reality.

This fun, compact carpet bag features chocolate and ochre monogram velvet and incredible strass details made of crystal and exotic alligator trim on the handle.

Now a collectors item the original retail in 2004 was $1460.

Details -

Only just missing an Excellent categorisation due to the light scuffing to the corner trims, there are two, black pin head sized dots to the gently creased underside of the shoulder strap, (see photos above).

The remainder of the bag is in a excellent condition and the interior lined in clean, soft, thick chocolate calfs leather showing a couple of light fingernail scuffs.
