This is a 100% authentic Mulberry Ledbury

in Oak Natural leather with brass hardware.

The precursor to the Small Bayswater Satchel, made without the shoulder strap, the Ledbury is a perfectly proportioned, compact day bag.

Crafted from a fabulously firm and thick, rich oak hide...this is a bag that will just grow lovelier and lovelier with age.

Details

Well shaped and without wear or scratches, the leather is a beautiful caramel oak shade and one that will develop a wonderful grain with use.

 General patination throughout, its a rich colour tone and one that will deepen over time and blend any marks with ease.

A natural, diagonal striation in the hide on the base and a small, slightly darker 3cm round area just above the base seam as shown.

Surface impressions to the top flap from the handle bases, as is commonly seen on this model  Inking is all excellent, handle bases firm, stitching strong and hardware very good with only a few light marks, as shown.

Top handles are firm and well shaped with only slight darkening to the tops where hand held.

Self lined in ruffled suede, the aperture of the bag can be altered via the internal belt. Please note this model has an inside slip pocket, (not zipped)
