This is a beautiful

100% authentic Chanel Tassle Hobo

in diamond stitched, black fine nap suede with antiqued gold hardware.

 

A larger sized, east -west style shoulder bag from 2001 crafted from a thick and supple hide.

Soft to the touch but with a really solid and substantial feel, its a bag that you won't have to baby and will add the finishing touch to any outfit.

Details -

The suede is amazing, especially considering its age and is a testiment to the enduring quality of Chanel materials and craftmanship.

Deep consistent black in tone, there are no shiny areas or visible flattening to the pile, excepting the base corners which are shallower in furze.

A light smudge* to the surface on the front LH side, (see close up photos above) this blends well by the movement of the nap as the surface finish appears to change dependent on the way its brushed and how the light catches it.

  The comfy, wide shoulder strap is very good, without creasing or stretching. The underside is lined in beautifully soft calf leather and the top is gently ruffled suede.
 
On very close inspection you can note a very small and extremely well camoflagued 2mm nick* to the edge which, again is concealed by the finish.
 
Tassles are softened and ruffled but all present, not stretched, kinked or split and the front glossy antiqued gold CC badge is excellent, without any scratching, tarnish or dulling.
 
Side rings, where the shoulder strap attaches, show scratches and some minor wear, though not as noticable as in the close up photos. The interior Chanel embossed zip also displays some loss of finish but not visible unless inspecting very closely.
 
A large interior is fully lined in clean, hardwearing CC signature black silky fabric and has two large zipped pockets.
 
The top of the bag seals with a smooth running lampo zip.
