Mulberry Classic Bayswater Special in Emerald Lightweight Antiqued Leather - SOLD

This is an unused, 100% authentic Mulberry Classic Bayswater 'Special'

in Emerald Lightweight Antiqued Leather with brass hardware.

From Spring Summer 2010 this fabulous special purchase Bayswater (made without cloche and feet) has been stored carefully since purchase.

Wonderfully light, just 888g, its a rare beauty and crafted from an azure, aquamarine green calfskin that has a light wax applied to create its naturally distressed finish.

Details - 

Unused, just stored carefully since purchase, Mulberry weren't putting protective film on hardware when this Bays was created and though there is a vague, semicircular tonal change on the RH side of the Postmans Lock Plate, (see photo above), this was present at the time of purchase.

A silky, satin texture to the hide, its naturally distressed and there are lots of inherent scuffs and creases which form part of the character of this leather.

Supple but strong, its will relax and soften further with use and weighing in at well under 1kg, its a fabulously comfortable Bays to carry.

All stitching and inking (edge sealent) in place, there is a dot of stray inking* on the rear LH side of the bag and a smatter on the base RH side as present from construction (see photo gallery above.)

Lined in immaculate, smooth taupe suede with two slip pockets, zipped pocket and internal belt so the aperture can be varied to suit.

Made in England.
