Gucci Princy Continental Wallet in Black Calfskin - SOLD

This is a 100% authentic Gucci Princy Continental Wallet in Black Calfskin and pale gold tone hardware.

 From the Cruise 2008 Collection, this beautiful, vintage, bifold wallet has the signature bow in black and red web to the front, finished with engraved end bar.

Crafted from a sublimely soft and grainy calfskin, the quality and craftmanship of this piece immediately grasps you.

Very little evidence of use to the leather, there is no wear, corners and curves are perfect and stitching all strong.

An extremely vague, linear surface impression to the rear, upper LH side and some very minor pressure indents to the fold over tab, from being closed, the top curve of the tab displays gentle creasing.

A barely there fingernail scuff to the lower front, just below the bow, it's such a tactile hide that feels amazing in the hand.

The only reason for the * condtion rating is due to the dulling and oxidisation to the two end pieces of the webbed bow. Both the LH Gucci engraved bar and the LH plain bar display light surface scratches with the RH side one showing coloration change, (oxidisation) around the edges which appears as a shinier gold tone. Not tarnish, its a natural part of the aging of this piece but has been reflected in the price.

A practical internal layout with 7 credit card slots, two long note sections behind, a dual section concertina note or paper section to the other side and to the revers of the purse is a single section, popper sealed coin purse.
