This is a 100% authentic Mulberry Oversized Bayswater

in Chocolate Natural Vegetable Tanned leather with brass hardware.

 

A unisex member of the Bayswater family, this large and exceptionally lovely Oversized Bays features adjustable shoulder straps with belt loop holders, the classic postman's lock fastening and hidden padlock in the leather fob. Inside is soft buffed leather with internal belt strap enabling widening for extra space and there's three internal pockets (one zipped)

A seriously substantial, craftsman made piece. Its supple, yet sturdy construction and significant capacity make it a perfect, large overnighter or travel bag.

Details -

Carried very lightly , protective film in place on external buckles, all lock plates are excellent and base feet display only light scratching.

Corners are unworn, stitching strong and just the slightest crackling to inking, (edge sealent) at the rear of the flap, where it flexes opening.

A few very light surface scuffs, as is inevitable with NVT, the reason for the * rating is due to a vague, vertical dark mark to the RH upper reverse of the bag, (see photo above). Though not designated a 'Sub' this slight variation in the colour tone was present from the time of purchase.

Shoulder straps are well shaped and firm and as the previous owner has had them set at the mid point drop there are very slight sit impressions from the buckles, (see Photo above).

Two parallel, diagonal striations in the hide to the top of the shoulder strap, as shown, these are a natural part of the make-up of the finish and not scratches.

The interior is self lined in clean suede and is one of those wonderful aroma-rich hides that makes you want to just jump inside!

Shoulder straps are adjustable with 6 drop lengths from 15cm to 29cm. Mid point setting is 21cm.
