This is a 100% authentic Mulberry Large Zipped Bayswater in Oxblood Deep Embossed Croc Print Leather with golden brass hardware.

 Crafted from a firm, rich, dark claret, burgundy toned, printed Calfskin, this large, semi structured tote is perfect for work or play. 

This is how Mulberry describe their revamped masterpiece. "The Bayswater is our most iconic bag, and its eponymous collection includes new styles inspired by the original. The Zipped Bayswater is the perfect option for those who like a zipped closure. Using the same construction as a Bayswater, this new style plays with the detail – deconstructing the front by removing the flap and using the iconic postman's lock to secure two belted straps. "

Details -

At first glance this beautiful Mulberry looks nearly new.

Well shaped, no visible wear, colour consistent, firm shoulder strap and  inking (edge sealent) and stitching all in place.

Only on very close inspection can you note the tinest rubs to the base corners, a very light  5mm surface scratch to the front handle, a curved fingernal scuff to the RH side panel, near the base and two parallel similar scratches to the rear LH lower side. A pin head sized, circular scuff to the middle of the base, all these are shown in close up detail in the last two quad photos above, but to the naked eye they are extremely difficult to see.

The reason for the * rating is due to the very vague rain spots to the surface of the finish on the front LH side of the bag. Very light and only a small smattering....again, almost completely imperceptible in use. This has been reflected in the price.

Lined in clean, gently ruffled, oxblood suede with a leather trimmed slip pocket. A small, round mark to the inner base, on the front seam, as shown.
