This is a 100% authentic Chanel Vintage Smaller Sized (9") Classic 2.55 flap in Black Lambskin leather with Shiny Gold hardware.

Recently reconditioned, this timeless Chanel has years of service yet to give.

Gently softened with compression creases across the lower base, there's no vintage aroma, no scrapes or scratches and hardware is bright and shiny throughout.

The soft lambskin hide is matte, a little dry but flap and base corners are very good, stitching is all strong and though the quilting is deflated from age, its all firm and even and incredibly lovely.

The leather to the intertwined shoulder strap shows light rubbing, (no stretching or detriment) and the chain is in a very good condition, without dulling, oxidisation or tarnish.

The end of the staff to the clasp displays paling and small surface dings and the underside of the front plaque displays some plating loss to its upper which has flaked to reveal the darker metal below. Now secure, no further loss or flaking should occur.

The front, interlocking CC clasp shows light surface scratches and minor scuffing around the edges. No oxidisation or tanish.

The flap eyelets are excellent, both inside and out.

 The interior flap has a central, vertical crease and the zip has impressed and rubbed onto the LH side curve, as is commonly seen on these pieces.

All holding stitches are tight and the smooth burgundy leather interior shows general use with light rubbing to the top edges of the rear double folded, slip pockets, but no flaking or issues.

Overall, a fabulous Chanel Flap that you'd never need to baby, and cared for well will continue to age gracefully.
