Mulberry Classic Heritage Bayswater in Chocolate Natural Leather with Brass Hardware - SOLD

This is a 100% authentic Mulberry Classic Bayswater  in Chocolate Natural Leather with Brass Hardware.

Now named the 'Heritage' Bayswater, this original design of Bayswater is still one of the most iconic Mulberry's to date. So sadly discontinued in the chocolate shade, its a colour that will be very much missed!

Details -

Crafted from a wonderfully thick, characterful and robust Natural Vegetable Tanned hide, there's no real wear, just the usual fingernail surface scuffs and light scratches, as is part of this finishes characteristics.

A light, diagonal scratch to the rear LH side, vertical belt piece, very hard to see and well camoflagued by the glossiness of this area.

Corners are unworn, a little dry around the curves (easily remedied with Collonil moisturisation) and the top flap slightly softened with surface impressions from the handle bases.

Shoulder straps are firm, (a slight curve from transit in a box), all inking, (edge sealent) is in place excepting some minor wear to the two front handle base inserts. Minor dryness to the hide at the tops and bottoms of the handles, again easily remedied with Collonil moisturisation.

A little rubbing to the inking to the front LH side vertical belt piece, (just to the LH side of the Postmans Lock, see photo)

The Postmans Lock Plate displays friction rubbing around the hole, a small scratch to the LH side and also RH side and friction scratching to the turnlocks side on the end. Scratches and some finish loss can also be noted to underside of the top plate and the apex of the base feet, from being placed down.

The interior is clean, self lined suede with some natural, vein striations to the top flap.
