This is a 100% authentic, Chanel Surpique Quilted Wild Stitch Black Calfskin Medium Flap Bag with Gold Hardware.

Superb condition for her age, this vintage delight  from 2003 is a wonderfully economic alternative to the classic Lambskin flap and with so much character.

Details - 

Well shaped, a nice and firm silhouette its a semi structured single flap that holds its shape well and won't compress, sag or deflate with time.

Entirely colour consistent, there are light colour rubs to the base corner, not scuffing, so this can be restored easily with a little Colonill cream.

A robust, glossy calfskin hide, there are few extremely light, surface fingernail scuffs to the rear of the bag, (almost impossible even to capture on camera) and a couple to the base, (see Gallery above).

A small, vague 2mm round mark to the front RH side of the bag, barely visble and below the flap when closed, I have not attempted to clean.

Stitching is all in place, with just the usual light ruffling that the gives the 'raw twine' suplique stitching character.

The 24k gold plated hardware is excellent. Bright, shiny without dulling or tarnish, both the CC clasp and interwoven chain strap are superb with only tiny hairline scratches. 

The leather of the shoulder strap is excellent also, without wear, stretching or fading.

The interior is lined in entirely clean, black CC repeat sateen with a zipped pocket and slip pocket.
