This is a 100% authentic Mulberry regular sized Alexa in Oak Polished Buffalo Leather with shiny gold tone hardware.

 Made in England from a deep cinnamon-toffee toned hide, this super supple, gorgeously grainy Lexy is from the last run of her kind.

So sadly now discontinued, this easy going, casual satchel is a style that will be so very much missed.

 

Condition - Very Good*

 

Details - 

Lots of natural striations to the hide, its strong, slouchy and will completely puddle when empty, (see photo above)

A testiment to the robustness of the leather, there is just the very lightest surface rub to the rear RH corner curve. No other wear, scratches, scuffs or marks throughout....its an amazingly hardy finish.

Inking (edge sealant) is all in place, stitching strong, the long, detachable excellent and the plait top handle firm.

Lined in clean, chocolate, thick cotton twill with a side zipped security pocket and leather trimmed slip pocket. 

Please note the small hole* to the lining on the inner LH side.

The underside of the top flap is lined in clean, lightly ruffled, chocolate suede.

The main reason for the Condition Rating is due to the scratches to the hardware. The Postmans Lock displays the usual light scratches, there is a little finish loss around the turnlock hole, (very hard to see without extremely close inspection) and contact friction rubbing / dulling to the two underside plates. However, the metal clad end tips to the two front straps display extensive scratches* with a little finish paling to the outer edges, which appears as a pinkish tinge, (see photos above). Much less visible to the naked eye than the close up pictures make these appear.
