This is a 100% authentic Saint Laurent Small Cabas Chyc Flap Satchel in Yellow Calfskin Leather with antiqued gold tone hardware.

A sleek, structured silhoutte in a beautifully summery shade, this classic compact YSL is a perfect day or evening accessory.

 

Condition - Good Used to Very Good

 

Details -

Without close inspection this fabulously sunny YSL looks brand new. 

Colour consistent, well shaped, perfect corners and curves, stitching all excellent and hardware pristine....the structure is firm yet rounded and the layout is a practical two section, suede lined, concertina with zipped pocket.

A light, curved surface impression to the front, upper RH side (from storage on the strap), there's a natural striation to the hide on the LH side of the base, a very vague lighter spot on the LH side panel and a gentle sit undulation on the strap where the buckle has been previously set .....but from the exterior there is almost no evidence of use.

A pin head sized, greenish coloured dot to the hide on the upper curve of the flap on the LH side. There are two similar pin prick sized dots to the lower RH side of the front flap.....so miniscule the are almost impossible to see with the naked eye.

A pin prick sized spot of stray inking on the upper curve of the LH side, as present from the time of construction, (the zoomed photo shows this clearly but in reality its almost invisible).

A teeny flex crackle to the inking, (edge sealent) on the RH side's strap base loop, the remainder is perfect.

The reason for the condition raiting is due due to the fingernail scratches to the surface of the very finely grained, smooth leather on the front of the bag, under the flap, (so not visible when closed).

A vertical one to the middle, a cluster above the popper, a cluster to the top RH side and one to the middle base, (to the RH side of the natural striation). All are shown in the gallery above.

Lined in clean, lemon suede with some minor flattening to the pile on the top flap, above the popper.

Made in Italy.
