This is a 100% authentic Mulberry Del Rey (larger sized) in Bark Brown Metallic Calf Fur Print Mix Leather with brushed gold tone hardware.

A perfect balance of texture and tone. Classic yet contemporary and utterly stunning, the iridescence glitters and glistens over the soft matte leather bringing a subtle glitz to this beautiful Mulberry.

Changing from black to bronze in the light with an almost aubergine glow, the hide is a bespoke finish of soft and luxurious suede with a metallic fur print foil applied. Called 'Bark Brown', its actually more black with a goldy bronze tone, trimmed with a beautifully matte velvet, black leather.

Details - 

Beautifully supple and unstructured with natural undulations in the flap, there are tonal variations in the hide as part of the inherent nature of the finish. Dependent on how the fine nap pile is brushed you see 'fingerprints' like you would on a pure suede surface.

No marks or scratches and very little wear. Corners display the slightest flattening and lightest rubbing to the surface foil and all inking (edge sealent) and stitching is in place.

Top handles are well shaped and crafted from a fabulously velvety, matte leather. Twin, parallel, vertical scratches can be noted to the rear handle on the inner RH side, (from a claw set ring) and an extremely light surface scuff to the LH side of the same handle, (see photos above).

Protective film in place on the base plate, the front pocket is lined in clean black Mulberry Tree fabric with a suede lined top flap.

The Postmans Lock Plate displays numerous, light hairline scratches and the turnlock has friction related finish lock to the end sides, though much less visible to the naked eye than the close up photo makes this appear.

The ase feet show scratches and loss of finish to their apex with a natural, diagonal striation across the upper corner of the top LH, black leather, square base patch.

The top seals with a smooth running zip (the header has a more antiqued appearance than the remainder of the brushed hadware) and the oval side tab can be secured by the spring loaded tassle lock, which can also be attached to the front Postmans Lock if preferred.

The interior is lined in black Mulberry Tree fabric displaying very light use to the base area.
