This is how Mulberry describe their revamped masterpiece. "The Bayswater is a Mulberry icon and has been one of our most popular styles since it arrived in 2003. Now, over a decade later, Creative Director Johnny Coca has taken the iconic style and refined some key features to further enhance the beauty and practicality of its design. For the Small Bayswater the strap attachment has been optimised and new branding has been added under the flap, a nod to those who prefer to wear a Bayswater with the flap tucked in. We want the classic, elegant aesthetic of the Small Bayswater to endure for decades to come."

Details -

A very structured silhouette, at first review this stunning Mulberry looks as if it could be new.

Hardy, replacement protective film applied to the front Postmans Lock plate, its all perfectly shaped and without any immediately visible wear.

The lightest of natural, rufffling to the wool finish, (the fabric does have a far more furzey texture than the Stock photo makes it appear, even when Brand New), the beautifully finely grained calfskin is all colour consistent, top handles, strap, hardware, inking (edge sealent) and stitching all perfect. 

Only on the closest of inspections, when you angle the bag away from you, can you note, two extremely light fingernail scratches* to the surface of the smooth hide on the top, middle curve of the flap, (shown above).

Light surface impressions to the top flap from the four rear handle base inserts, as is common on this model.

The interior is fully lined in immaculate, soft, navy Lamb Nappa with a leather slip pocket and zip section.
