This is a 100% authentic Mulberry Abbey Small Bucket Bag in Burgundy Silky Calf Leather with golden bass hardware.

  Inspired by the vintage ‘bucket bags’ from the 1970s archives, the Abbey is a contemporary twist on a much-loved silhouette.

Glorious, thick and vey smooth, calfskin, its a strong yet light hide, supple enough to soften with use but the rigid base will ensure the bag holds its shape. 

Featuring a detachable zip pouch and Postmans Locked belt closure, this beautiful Abbey is crafted from a finely grained, classic reddish toned oxblood leather.

Condition -  Very Good to Excellent

 Details -

No wear, its well shaped, colour consistent and protective film remains in place on base plate.

Two natural, diagonal striations in the hide on the base, as present from construction.

Postmans Lock Plate, all stitching and inking, (edge sealent,) excellent and shoulder strap similarly good with just a light sit impression where the buckles been set.

As is inevitable with this finish though, there are a number of extremely light fingernail scuffs to the surface. Most are barely visible to the naked eye but I have captured all on camera in the two collations in the gallery above.

Clean, firm, two sized zip around zip purse and the interior of the bag is self lined in clean, ruffled burgundy suede.
