This is a 100% authentic Mulberry Classic Heritage Bayswater In Chocolate Croc Printed Vegetable Tanned Leather with Antiqued Brass hardware.

Now discontinued by Mulberry, both the chocolate shade and the Printed Leather, this is such an incredibly handsome bag, it makes you hanker for the finishes of yesteryear.

Though not as deeply printed as the more recent Deep Embossed Croc leather, the print is beautifully spaced and characterful, with a wonderful balance of firmness and suppleness thats hard to beat.

Crafted from a thick, robust and glossy, dark chocolate hide, this is superb example of Mulberry craftmanship. Strong, sturdy and a real work-horse bag, its a Bayswater that will just go on and on.

Details -

Carried extensively but cared for incredibly well, the leather is stunning. Holding its shape beautifully its supple (not slouchy) and though will stand up empty, it will still mould to your side when carried.

Very little actual wear, there are no water spots to the surface, no marks scuffs or discoloration or flattening to the grain and corners are excellent.

All stitching is strong and though inking, (edge sealent) is a little dry around the the top aperture sides, its all in place.

The shoulder straps are, well shaped but slightly softened and there is inking wear to the inner top curve of the straps and also wear and loss to the handle bases rear (see photos above).

The Postmans Lock Plate displays friction related finish loss around the turnlock hole, which appears as darker and shinier.

The turnlock has scratching to its side and the plates to the underside and base of the bag display friction rubbing.

The base feet dipslay finish loss and paling to their apex which is visible as a silver tone to their ends.

The interior is lined in clean chocolate suede, showing general use (no marks, stains or flattening / shiny areas to the pile)

A delightful Bayswater that looks so much lovelier in the flesh than a listing of its faults make it sound.
