Mulberry Somerset Despatch Satchel in Chocolate Natural Leather - SOLD

This is a 100% authentic Mulberry Somerset Despatch Satchel (medium sized) in chocolate natural leather with brass hardware.

The original styling to the Somerset satchel with a zip secured top, this practical shoulder bag is crafted from a thick and glossy, dark chocolate hide, rather reminiscent of the beautiful Antique Glace!

A useful front zip pocket and detachable short shoulder strap, its a robust everyday bag that you'll never need to baby.

Details -

A far more handsome piece than the rather unforgiving photos make it appear, there's no real wear to the leather, just lots of surface scratches as shown. Much less visible to the naked eye as the sheen of the hide camoflagues them incredibly well and they do form a natural feature of this finish.

No wear to the corners, curves are slightly lightened but not grazed and there is an area of surface impressions to the lower, rear LH side, (see photos above).

Some pin prick sized kitty teeth marks to the front pockets leather zip pull, where a naughty moggy's had a little chew!

All stitching strong and hardware good with some scratches to the front on the chunky Tree embossed disc.

Wear to the inking, (edge sealent) at the shoulder strap's leather attachment loops, this appears as cracking and minor sealent loss.

The webbed shoulder strap is excellent, without wear or rubbing.

The interior is lined in khaki beige cotton with two leather trimmed slip pockets. General light marking to the lining and a tear to the lining seam in the lower RH rear corner, as shown. (This does not affect the use of the bag in any way)
