This is a 100% authentic Mulberry Classic Heritage Bayswater in Black Small Classic Grain Leather with shiny gold tone hardware.

Deep inky black in tone this beautiful classically styled Bayswater, crafted from Mulberry's newer and firmer SCG leather, has softened to a supple and slouchier silhouette, more reminiscent of a Natural Vegetable Tanned hide.

Details -

Colour consistent, the leather is evenly grained with a nice sheen, a gently softened top flap and slightly smoother grain the corners, (no visible wear or scuffing).

A slight dimple to the form on the front, lower LH side of the bag, (best viewed in the Gallery above in the mannequin photo), two horizontal undulations to the LH side, vertical leather piece, (that extends down the front of the bag from where the handles are attached) and two light scratches to the RH sides piece. A single, very light, vertical scratch to the rear, on the curve of the middle, near the base, (see photo below serial number above). All are shown in close-up in the gallery, though to the naked eye they are not obvious.

A 5mm scratch that has broken the surface of the leather on the RH side panel of the bag, near the base. Shown in close up and zoom in the twin picture above, again, this is extremely hard to see in the flesh, (though the main reason this bag has been assessed as 'Well Used')

Stitching all firm and inking in place, displaying wear to the inner handle base triangles.

Shoulder straps are well shaped, with softening only to their bases.

The Postmans Lock Plate displays lots of scratching which has slightly dulled the finish, (no oxidisation, tarnish or finish loss). The underside plate displays contact marks and scratches, the base plate and turnlock is very good. Base feet display scratches and paling to their apex from being placed down.

Lined in clean, soft, fine nap microfibre with zipped pocket and two slip sections.
