Details - 

The exterior is As New. Pristine leather, no marks, scuffs or scratches, its perfectly shaped and protective film remains on base plate.

Three, light fingernail scratches to the smooth, nappa leather lining of the flap's interior lining, all stitching is firm and the interior immaculate, the reason for the * rating is due to the flex cracking to the inking, (edging) to the base of the flaps on each side.

Only visible if you extend the flap backwards to view and an inherent feature of the use of these pieces.
