This is a 100% authentic Mulberry Travel Day Bag in Oak Shiny Lambskin leather with gold tone hardware.

This beautiful plaque embellished regular Alexa Satchel, (named the Travel Day) is crafted from a fabulously thick, grainy and lightly glazed, deeply textured lambs leather.

Don't be deterred thinking it's a delicate lambskin, you'd think it was shrunken calf its so hardy!

Details -

Gorgeously grainy, amazing to the touch with a stunningly super-creasy finish, its a hide that will soften with use and slouches when empty, (see photo above).

The slightest lightening to the corner curves and very mild rubbing to the rear two, there's a small, surface glue residue mark to the front, middle, RH, present from construction, (I have not attempted to remove).

A light, diagonal surface rub to the rear upper LH side and a naturally darker area in the grain on the upper RH curve of the top flap, on the rear, just below the plait handle.

All so minor and hard to see without the closest of inspections, its an extremely forgiving finish as blends signs of use and age magnificently.

The long, adjustable shoulder strap and plait top handle are excellent and its metal clad ends display no visible scratches.

Inking (edge sealent) and stitching are in place throughout and the removable, Tree embossed, central 'mirror' plaque is similarly excellent, without visible scratches.

Light friction rubs between the top and bottom side of the push lock and the usual contact marks to the self-locating poppers, the four, metal clad corner plaques are excellent with only a couple of miniscule hairline scratches to the front two.

Light surface scratches to the two metal-tipped strap ends, there is a lighter coloured stitch to the Mirror Plaques, outer frame, on the lower LH side, (see photos above). Most likely from the craftsman pencil in construction, its barely noticable.

The interior is lined in thick, clean, toffee coloured suede with a leather trimmed slip pocket and side zipped section.

Protective film remains in place on all four inner sides of the corner metal plaques.
