This is a 100% authenticMulberry Small Bayswater Buckle in Taupe Small Classic Grain Leather with Shiny Silver Nickel hardware.

 Made in England with all the heritage charm of the classic Bayswater, this smaller version features side buckle detailing, giving the attractive trapezoid shape.

Crafted from a thick, supple, evenly but deeply grained hide, its soft but strong and a colour that goes with everything.

Details -

The leather is perfect throughout. No wear to corners or curves, no scuffs, scratches or marks and all stitching strong.

Well shaped, will stand empty with a little forward lean, (see photo above), its an exceptionally nice hide that feels wonderfully pliable without being too slouchy.

Pristine top handles, inking (edge sealant) all in place with just a few miniscule flex crackles to the joins at the base of the flap sides.

Commonly seen, light surface impressions to the top flap where the rear handle base interts have sat.

Protective film in place under the top lockplate, the base plate and Postmans Lock Plate displays a few hairline scratches.

Base feet display very light scratches to their apex.

The reason for the * rating is the minor friction rubbing to the upper edge of the turnlock hole and a small area of scratching to the lower middle curved edge of the Postmans Lock plate, see photo above. Hard to see without very close inspection, there is no loss of finish, oxidisation or tarnish.

Lined in entirely clean, soft beige microfibre with zipped pocket and two slip sections.
