Mulberry Classic Heritage Bayswater in Oak Darwin Leather - SOLD

This is a 100% authentic Mulberry Classic Heritage Bayswater in Oak Darwin Leather with Brass Hardware.

Made in England.... the Mulberry icon, this beautifully rich, teak toned Bayswater is crafted from a fabulous, thick darwin hide.

A glorious gingery undertone, its one of those leathers that just gets better and better with age and use.

Details -

Well shaped, colour consistent and without visible wear, this hide is incredibly beautiful. Robust, characterful with that intoxicating Darwin aroma that just can't be replicated.

Corners are excellent, all stitching strong and inking (edge sealent) in place with just the slightest drying and softening to the handle bases.

A little softeneing to the shoulder straps with only very minor darkening to the top areas where they've been hand held.

A gentle horizonal crease across the middle, back of the bag with a natural striation in the grain, the RH side panel displays some light rain spot patination near the base and there is a small paler dot on the LH side panel, (all shown above in photos provided).

A pin head sized dink* to the leather on the base, this has just broken the surface of the hide but its quite hard to see and will not worse or detrimentally affect the use of the bag in any way.

The Postmans Lock Plate is very good with just light friction rubbing around the turnlock hole. The undersides of the plates excellent though the turnlock sides do display some scratching / loss of finish.

The interior is self lined in clean suede with two leather slip pockets and zip section.

Please note the 'Mulberry' lettering to the interior badge is very faint.
