Mulberry Alexa Oversized Satchel in Chocolate Soft Buffalo Leather - SOLD

This is a 100% authentic Mulberry Oversized Alexa in Chocolate Soft Buffalo leather with brushed brass hardware.

Mulberry's iconic unstructured, larger sized Lexy satchel, in a beautifully supple and glossy, dark, bitter-chocolate hide.

Light to carry for its size, its a unisex satchel, perfect for work, play or travel, as there lots of capacity.

Carry by hand, wear on the shoulder or across the body...our lovely lexy's are so sadly now discontinued and are very much missed!

Details -

Super slouchy, see her puddle when empty, there are the usual light fingernail scuffs and normal striations to the hide, as is the inherent nature of these pieces...in particular gloriously creasy side panels and base.

A natural, vertical undulation in the hide on the rear, lower middle of the bag and a very minor rub to the corner tip of the rear, RH horizontal strap end (that cinches the side of the bag in and secures with the ball staff). This isn't visible unless you 'ruffle' the corner up to see the underside layers.

All shown in the gallery photos above, its such a characterful bag that will continue to grow even lovelier as it ages.

Colour consistent and without wear to the leather, the corner curves trims are slightly lightened, (any white marks in the photos are purely light reflections), but there is no scuffing or scrapes.

Carried mainly by the shoulder strap the plait top handle is excellent and all stitching and inking (edge sealent) is intact throughout the bag.

Light scratches to the two, metal clad, front satchel strap tip ends, D rings and shoulder strap dog clips. The Postmans Locks Plate dispalys friction rubbing around the turnlock hole and the sides of the turnlock end, finish loss from friction.

The detachable shoulder strap is softened and creasy with 'sit' impressions where the buckles been set and light inking wear to the sides near the clips.

The interior is fully lined in entirely clean, chocolate Mulberry tree repeat fabric with a side zipped security pocket and leather trimmed slip pocket. The top flap is lined in soft, lightly ruffled suede.
