This is a 100% authentic Mulberry regular sized Alexa Stachel in Oxblood Shrunken Calf leather with shiny gold tone hardware.

A deeply textured, beautifully bubbly, burgundy toned leather with the most amazing natural striations.

A thick, yet supple hide, so perfect for the iconic Lexy shape. Slouchy but strong and if you prefer the more upright silhouette just use the felt Liner which the Seller has also included in the sale.

Details - 

The leather is perfect throughout (any white 'marks' in the photos are purely light reflections) and the character of this hide is just incredible.

Deep and plentiful natural striations, a rich claret tone and so wonderfully robust..... it really is the most fabulous finish.

The leather is pristine throughout. Colour consistent, without wear, marks or scratches, (any white 'marks' in the photos are purely light reflections).

Corners and curves excellent, perfect plait top handle, stitching strong and inking in place with some small feather flex crackles to the side edges of the top flap, as shown.

The reason for the *Rating is due to the 'crazing' (finish looks like a shattered mirror) to one clip of the long shoulder strap. The other clip is unaffected with just normal light scratches and the leather and buckle are excellent.

Scratches to the two metal clad, satchel strap tip end and friction rubbing around the turnlock hole on the Postmans Lock Plate with a small dot ding to its upper RH side.

Protective film remains in place on the base plate, there are minor contact scratches to the underside plate.

The interior is fully lined in pristine, chocolate Mulberry tree repeat fabric with a side zipped security pocket and leather trimmed slip pocket.

The top flap is lined in lightly ruffled, soft dark chocolate suede
