This is a 100% authentic Mulberry Cara Delevingne Bag (medium sized) in Black Quilted Lambskin Nappa Leather with shiny goldtone hardware.

The Cara Delevingne Bag is a three-in-one style, uniting Mulberry’s English attitude to beautiful practicality and the inimitable personality of British model Cara Delevingne. Designed to take you anywhere, it can be worn on the back, shoulder or carried hand-held.

Made in England at Mulberry’s factories in Somerset (proudly stamped on the bottom of each bag), inspired by Cara’s own made in England tattoo on the sole of the foot......Cara wanted each bag to be like opening a letter with a lovely surprising touch. Inside you can find a small lion rivet and a heart shaped patch based on Cara’s own heart tattoo. Cara said: “I want there to be hidden gems inside, based on things that are personal to me, which my tattoos definitely are.”

 Designated as Substandard (by the small '0' imprinted to the inner heart patch), the reason for this is a natural, curved striation* in the hide on the front, lower LH side, see photo above.

Details -

Gently softened, (see her slouch when empty), this lovely piece comes without the top-handle, mini 'holder / buckle strap' so handles will sit downwards in use.

Colour consistent and without obvious wear, the corners are very good, there are natural, diagonal creases and a fingernail scuff to the front RH flap corner, two vertical surface scratches to the rear lower middle, a small scuff to the rear RH sides piped trim, a small diagonal scratch to the fromt top handle and two fingernail scratches to the LH side of the top flaps curve, all shown in the Gallery above.

As is inevitable with such a finely grained hide, there are a couple of gentle rubs to the surface of the leather, one below the tree print on the hanging cloche and one the RH sides D ring loop on the base.

The Postmans Lock Plate displays hairline scractches and there are contact scratches to the underside plate. D rings display contact scraches, no tarnish or oxidisation. Base feet display paling / gold finish colour loss to their apex.

The two, leather back pack straps are excellent with slight kinking from being folded in storage.

The interior is lined in ruffled suede showing general use with a fabric lined zipped pocket, two slip pockets and mini lion head rivet charm.
