Mulberry Small Buckle Bayswater in Woven Leather with Gunmetal Hardware - SOLD

This is a 100% authentic Mulberry Bayswater 'Mini' Bayswater Buckle Bag in Woven Leather & Flat Calf with Dark Gunmetal hardware. 

Made in England from Italian hides, this 'Mini' Buckle Bays isn't really mini at all! Slightly more compact than an SBS (Small Bayswater Satchel) but plenty of room for everyday, its crafted from a beautiful combination of charcoal grey, royal blue and black geometric woven leather......a pattern inspired by the centuries-old craft of willow basket making.

Light and easy to carry, it marries its modern trapezoid shape with traditional heritage charm effortlessly.

Details -

Well shaped and colour consistent, the silhoutte is firm with just a slight backwards lean when empty (see photo above).

Top handles have a minor RH sidewards lean from storage, though this will even quickly with use.

The long detachable shoulder strap is excellent with a horizontal undulation where the buckle has previously been set.

No wear to corners or curves, there are a few of the inevitable very light surface scuffs to the smooth, finely grained hide of the top flap, handles and a hairline diagonal scratch to the base, (only visible if you angle the bag to view).

Commonly seen surface impressions to the flap from the rear handle base inserts.

The edgy, pewter toned Postmans Lock Plate displays a few hairline scratches, minor friction rubbing around the turnlock hole and there is a light scratch to the underside plate. Base plate is excellent.

 Lined in clean, soft black microfibre with a slip pocket.
