This is a 100% authentic Mulberry Large Neely Satchel in Steel Grey Spongy Pebbled Patent Leather with shiny gold tone hardware. 

The Seller has also included a Felt Liner in the sale.

Effortlessly chic, the Neely is a smart and classically unfussy briefcase detailed, envelop flap bag with a simple, understated pushlock closure.

Angular but supple its crafted from a beautifully, crinkly, naplak textured leather with a thick gloss that repels rain with ease.  

Add in the Felt Liner for a more upright silhouette, there's lots of capactity and not a bag you'll ever have to baby.

A chameleon of a colour, it looks dark Navy Blue in some lights and Silver Grey in others, its a piece you can co-ordinate with anything.

Details -

At first review you'll note the general scratches, dulling and finish loss, (paling) to the front Pushlock.  Light contact scratches to the top O rings and eyelets, the side D-rings also display wear and friction scratches from attaching to the shoulder strap clips.

One, small pinkish 'bruise' to the surface of the hide, over the front, top prestud (where the self locating prestud fastener sits) and a small, dot scuff to the front, LH corner trim, see circled location. Neither of these are visible without close inspection and the highly reflective nature of the finish camoflagues them almost completely.

As is sometimes seen with this finish however, there is some cracking and peeling to the surface of the patent by the side D Rings. Shown in close up detail in the Gallery above, this is also hard to see with the naked eye but has been reflected in the price.

The Harness Leather top handle is firm and well shaped with a little natural drying to the edges and the detachable shoulder strap is excellent with just a slight sit mark on the shoulder strap from where the buckle's been set. The reverse of the Harness Lether finish is a raw hide with a naturally distressed look.

The lining is clean, black tree repeat cotton with a zipped pocket and leather trimmed slip pocket. The top also seals with a self locating popper.

The interior of the top flap is lined in clean grey suede showing some flattening to each side and a little fading in areas.
