This is a Substandard 100% authentic Mulberry Cara Delevingne Mini Backpack in Black Natural Vegetable Tanned Leather with Shiny Silver Nickel hardware.

So sadly now discontinued, the uber-cool Cara Backpack is a go anywhere piece. Featureing the classic Postmans Lock and crafted from a thick, characterful NVT leather, its a piece that will just get lovelier with use.

Called the 'Mini', there's plenty of room for everyday and even though designated as a Sub, (by the small '0' imprinted into the inner heart badge), I can't find any reason for this!

This is how Mulberry described the Cara Family - "The Cara Delevingne Bag is a three-in-one style, uniting Mulberry’s English attitude to beautiful practicality and the inimitable personality of British model Cara Delevingne. Designed to take you anywhere, it can be worn on the back, shoulder or carried hand-held. The bags are made in England at Mulberry’s factories in Somerset and this is proudly stamped on the bottom of each bag, inspired by Cara’s own made in England tattoo on the sole of the foot. Cara wanted each bag to be like opening a letter with a lovely surprising touch. Inside you can find a small lion rivet and a heart shaped patch based on Cara’s own heart tattoo. Cara said: “I want there to be hidden gems inside, based on things that are personal to me, which my tattoos definitely are.”

Details -

A lovely thick, robust and characterful NVT hide, the form is nicely softened, (see photo above of her slouch when empty) but there's no wear or issues.

Inking (edge sealent) and stitching in place and corners and curves excellent.

Top handles and webbed straps are very good, without wear and there's just the commonly seen four surface impressions to the top flap from the handles rear bases.

D rings and strap clips display only light contact scratches and the Postmans Lock is very good with just a couple of hairline scratches and a tiny surface dink, see zoomed photo.

The underside plates display friction scratches with the upper plate showing surface finish loss.

The interior is self lined in clean suede displaying fading around the edges of the two sides seams.
