The new styled smaller sized Bayswater in a firm, evenly grained rich burgundy toned hide. A structured silhouette with just enough 'give' so its not solid, its a piece that will retain its shape for years to come.

This is how Mulberry describe their revamped masterpiece. "The Bayswater is a Mulberry icon and has been one of our most popular styles since it arrived in 2003. Now, over a decade later, Creative Director Johnny Coca has taken the iconic style and refined some key features to further enhance the beauty and practicality of its design. For the Small Bayswater the strap attachment has been optimised. New branding has been added under the flap. We want the classic, elegant aesthetic of the Small Bayswater to endure for decades to come."

Details -

At first review of the exterior, you'd think it was brand new.

Shoulder strap still within tissue wrapping and hardy protective film on lockplates plates. Ttop handles, corners, curves, stitching and inking (edge sealent) all pristine.

Surface impresisons to the top flap from the rear handle bases, quite pronounced on this piece, but often seen on these models.

On very close inspection however you can note a spot of stray inking* to the lower front curve of the bag, in the middle near the base seem. Present from construction and very hard to see unless you know its there, (see zoomed photos above)

The interior is lined in soft ruffled suede displaying an area of darkening to the inner, lower RH side, near the aperture seam.

There is a leather slip pocket and zip section.

Made in England.
