Mulberry Regular Alexa Satchel in Cream Silky Classic Calf - SOLD

This is a 100% authentic Mulberry Regular Alexa Satchel in Cream Silky Classic Calf leather with shiny gold tone hardware.

Crafted from a buttery smooth, thick and fabulously finely grained hide in a beautiful pale, nearly white shade. Just the slightest hint of cream, its the perfect balance of warm and cool.

Details -

A thick yet still pliable hide, it stands when empty with a little slouch (see photo above), but will soften and relax with use, developing to become wonderfully slouchy and unstructured.

Protective film in place on the front of the Postmans Lock Plate and all buckles, the underside of the lockplates and front two, metal-clad, satchel strap ends display light scratches.

A small, shallow dimple to the hide on the upper LH side of the top flap and a barely visible, light, pale spot mark to the RH side panel's horizontal 'cinch' strap that attaches to the push-through staff, see photos above.

All inking, (edge sealent), stitching, strap and handle are perfect.

The reason for the * rating is due to the very vaguest glue discoloration which has only developed during storage. Produced in late 2014 / early 2015, at the time of construction there has been some stray adhesive in contact with the hide on the front, upper RH side of the bag, near the top aperture, which appears as an extremely vague, yellowish diagonal streak, (location indicated in the Quad picture and close up beside it). This would have been wiped away at the time and not visible, but the residue has discoloured with time. 

An almost imperceptible and very small shadow to the lower RH side of the RH side panel, near the base curve and similarly on the LH side, these are so incredibly vague and hard to see, you'd never notice them unless expressly pointed out and completely invisible. The photos above accurately represent how these areas look to the naked eye.

The corners show the very slightest use with one, small dark rub to the RH side trim, as shown.

Lined in pristine, thick, beige linen cotton with leather trimmed slip pocket and side zipped section. The interior flap is lined in a soft, beige suede.
