This is a Brand New*, 100% authentic Mulberry 'Union Jack' Classic Heritage Bayswater in Oak Natural Vegetable Tanned Leather with feature, red white and blue enamel lock plate. 

A Selfridges Lt Ed exclusive, released to celebrate the 2012 Diamond Jubilee, this patriotic piece of loveliness is crafted from a beautifully thick and supple, rich toffee toned, NVT hide with shiny gold hardware.

Crafted from a thick, pebbly NVT hide...curvy and unstructured, (see photo when empty), its a Bays that promises a gloriously soft a slouchy silhouette with use.

A mellow, caramel tone, its just been stored carefully since purchase and displays just the gentlest of drying to the corner curves, easily remedied with a massage of Colonnil Gel.

The feature enamel Union Jack Postmans Lock Plate is excellent with just very light surface scratches* to the end of the turnlock and panelled gold lines around the enamel, (these pieces didn't have protective film in place when made).

As is commonly seen on these pieces there are a few spots of stray inking (egde sealent) from the craftsman, and all present from New. Shown in the last quad photo above, there is one to the top, rear LH curve of the flap, one to the rear shoulder strap on the lower RH side, one to the rear RH corner curve and a twin dot to the rear, upper RH side.

Self lined in suede with zipped pocket, two slip pockets and feature oval badge.
