Balenciaga Classic City in Bordeaux Agneau with Dark Brass Hardware - SOLD

This is a 100% authentic Balenciaga Classic City in Bordeaux Agneau with Dark Brass Hardware.

Crafted from a beautifully crackly and glossy, soft arena lambskin in a rich Morello Cherry toned, deep burgundy shade, this black forest delight is a perfect colour for Autumn.

Details -

Fabulously supple and slouchy, (see photo when empty), this stunning Bal is a piece thats even better for the use its received.

Such a characterful hide, there are no marks or scratches or even real wear, just the inevitable slight drying and colouration lightening to the corners and top curves. A small fingernail scuff to the surface of the front RH top handle. If you wanted to blend any of these areas, a light application of the correct Colonnil Cream would rectify immediately.

Gently softening to the tassles, the mirror is excellent and the top handles firm and well shaped with whipstitching all excellent.

The shoulder strap is similarly excellent with one minor crease where the comfort pad has been previously sat, see photo above.

Hardware is very good, with a few very light scratches to the interior curves of the O rings at the side of the bag where the shoulder strap clips attach.

All stitching and inking (edge sealent) in place though there is one raised stitch to the rear, upper LH side of the bag, as is shown in the two photos above. Entirely secure, this would have been present at the time of construction and does not affect the use of the bag in any way.

 Lined in clean black cotton with zipped pocket and two slip sections.
