Mulberry Classic Small Antony Messenger in Black Darwin Leather - SOLD

This is a 100% authentic Mulberry Classic Small Antony Messenger in Black Darwin Leather with antiqued brass hardware.

 Part of Mulberrys first classic collection, this smaller sized (regular) Antony is a unisex, hands-free, cross body bag.

Crafted from a gloriously glossy and characterful Darwin hide, pieces like this are so sadly missed.

Condition - Well Used

Details - 

Though its rare for the Nest to sell such an aged bag, this Antony is all completely structurally sound, stitching all intact and even more lovely for all the use he's received.

The leather is glossy with a fabulous creasy texture thats developed though time and care and though he's far from new, the hide is not yet softened with years and years of service to give.

No visible scratches, scuffs or detriment. It really is a stunning hide.

Slight drying and cracking to the inking (edge sealent) at the top sides of the flap where they flex and base corners show a little wear.

The interior suede is ruffled and discoloured as happens with use, particularly the underside.

The Postmans Lock Plate is excellent with light friction rubbing between the plates. The sides of the turnlock shows loss of finish as shown.

The webbed cross body strap is exceptionally good. Colour consistent, without fading, rubbing or wear.

A much nicer Antony that a list of his faults makes him sound and a  real testimony to the longeivity of Mulberry at its finest.
