This is a 100% authentic Hermés Chale Shawl Scarf 'Jaguar Quetzal' in Gris Chine, Bleu Noir & Gris, 30% Silk and 70% Cashmere.

 Utterly beautiful, incredibly soft, this 140cm square Chale, designed by by Alice Shirley is highly sought after in this neutral colourway.

Inspired by the “Jaguar Warriors” of pre-Columbian Aztec civilisation the sleeping Jaguar's opulent headdress, comprised of feathers and semi-precious stones, owes its beauty to the brilliance of more than 400 Quetzal feathers. (The Quetzal is a tropical bird from Central and South America, whose Aztec name means “long green feathers”.)

Condition - Excellent

 Details -

Light linear creases from storage, there are no pulls, stains or aroma and the hand rolled and stitched edges are all excellent throughout.

As is inevitable from even the gentlest of handling, there is very mild surface ruffling to the fabric.
