This is a 100% authentic Mulberry Classic Bayswater Ink Blue Silky Snake Shine with shiny gold tone hardware.

A super-snakey, embossed finish resembling python, with hand carved anaconda scales in the deepest midnight blue hue (in some lights looks almost black!), this amazing piece is so much nicer in the flesh than a list of its faults makes it sound.

Gloriously glazed, this leather is much more robust than you'd think and a Mulberry that you'll never need to baby.

  Condition - Well Used

Details -

A supple hide, with a well softened flap, it will stand up empty with a forward slouch, (see photo above), entirely structurally intact and all stitching strong.

Light scratches to the Postmans Lock Plate and friction rubs to the perimeter of the underside plates, the corner curves of the bag are not worn but show general colour lightening, as happens with use.

As is an inevtiable feature of this hide, the hand carved scales show natural movement and dimension throughout, which form an inherent feature of this finish.  The motion of the bag in use results in slight lifting to the scale edges revealing the lighter colour tone beneath (shown in the photo compilation above). Part of the character of these pieces, the condition rating reflects the natural characteristics of this finish, as this fabulous Mulberry is still utterly beautiful.

Shoulder straps are well shaped but softened and inking (edge sealent) is absent from the inner edge sides, from use. It would be recommended to have these restored prior to use.

Self lined in clean, ruffled suede with a small whitish mark to the inner, rear LH side as shown.
