Mulberry Classic Heritage Bayswater in Oak Printed Vegetable Tanned Leather - SOLD

This is a 100% authentic Mulberry Classic Heritage Bayswater in Oak Printed Vegetable Tanned Leather with Brass Hardware.

A fabulous croc embossed print in Mulberrys finest NVT leather, so sadly now discontinued, this robust, handsome Bayswater is a caramel delight.

Details -

A firm silhouette, standing perfectly when empty, the mixed sized scale pattern is beautifully spaced with a gentle gloss. Its a finish that (once protected with Colonill) shrugs of rain with ease and is marvellous at blending any marks acquired as the finish is so forgiving.

No immediately visible wear to the hide, just the usual minor drying to the leather, darkening to corner curves and natural surface scratches to the leather that form part of the character of these pieces (see close up photos provided above)

Shoulder straps are softened, with slight drying and light patina to the top areas. A small ruffle to the inking, (edge sealent) to the rear top inner side, as shown). Very minor inking crackles to the handle base sides, not visible without extremely close inspection.

The Postmans Lock Plate is excellent, the underside plates display contact friction scratches and there are the usual light scratches to the apex of the base feet from being placed down. All colour consistent, the variation in tone in the photo of the base feet is purely due to the light.

The interior is self lined in clean toffee coloured suede displaying general ruffling around the underside plate on the flap.
