Mulberry Vintage Zinia Baguette Bag in Black Printed Leather - SOLD

This is a 100% authentic Mulberry Vintage Zinia Baguette Bag in Black Printed Leather with Golden Brass Hardware. 

A compact East West flap with Postmans Lock, its crafted from a mixed size, scale embossed, Natural Vegetable Tanned calfskin and lined in lovely Mulberry tree fabric.

Ideal for the evening or the day when you just need to carry the essentials.

Details -

A softened silhouette, with creases to the base corner areas and a slight undulation in the form on the front, upper LH side of the flap. (See photo of it standing empty).

The hide is thick, robust, with a light gloss, so ideal for carrying in the rain, (as it has been Colonill protected)

Colour consistent, there's no wear to the leather just the natural slight dryness that develops with time and is easily remedied with a little moisturisation.

The contrast stitching is all strong with light surface ruffling and inking (edge sealent) in place with wear only visible on close inspection around the sides of the loops at each end of the bag, (see zoomed photos above).

The top strap is gently softened, not creased or sticky, with some light marks to the edging on the LH side, (shown in close up and with zoom).

The hardware is very good throughout without scratches to the Postmans Lock Plate, just minor contact friction between the underside plates.

The interior is lined in clean, black Mulberry Tree fabric.
