This is a 100% authentic Mulberry Classic Bayswater Tote in Black Natural Vegetable Tanned Leather with Golden Brass hardware.

A marvellously robust and easy to carry shoulder tote, (now so sadly discontinued), there's plenty of room for work or play. 

 Crafted from an exceptionally robust and characterful hide that just gets better and better with age and use.... NVT is so sadly missed!  

Its one of those bags that makes you remember why Mulberry became great.

Details -

Glorious, thick, glossy and beautifully grained leather with the most fabulous character... reminiscent of the vintage Darwin of old.

 Gently softened, its supple but will stand up empty and you can cinch the sides in with the adjustable belt for a less trapezoid shape, if you prefer a more tapered look.

Corners are unworn, colour is consistent throughout and there are just a few of the vaguest, barely visible light surface scuffs, to the lower, rear LH side near the base.

Shoulder straps firm and well shaped and inking (edge sealent) is in place with the commonly seen flex cracking* to three point of the handle bases, where the handles meet the top trim. Shown with the zoom in the gallery above, these aren't noticable to the naked eye and doesn't affect the piece in any way.

The Postmans Lock Plate displays light friction scratching around the turnlock hole, and there is light scratching to the turnlock sides. Underside plates are very good as are base feet.

The interior i self lined in clean, ruffled suede with a large leather zipped pocket
