 This is a 100% authentic Saint Laurent YSL Loulou (Medium Sized) in Black Tulip Chevron Quilted Matelasse Calfskin with Antiqued Silver Hardware.

 Absolutely stunning, this beautiful Loulou is crafted from a black cherry toned, dark aubergine 'Y' matelasse quilted calfskin with a fabulous, gentle sheen and a glorious crinkly surface texture.

Named the 'Medium' its a good Jumbo size and such an easy to use piece, perfect for everyday.

So soft and puffy to the touch, its not a structured piece but stands completely upright when empty and the light glaze means it's wonderfully resilient to rain and marks.

Lined in black grossgrain with lots of capacity, its divided into three sections, the middle being zip secured and the top flap seals by way of self locating popper.

Condition - Very Good to Excellent

Details -

Without close inspection it looks barely carried.

Colour consistent, the beautiful black-forest tone changes intensity in the light....its utterly beautiful.

Well shaped, without immediately visible wear, the main reason for the condition rating is due to two scuffs to the hide. One to the upper, RH side curve of the top flap and one to the front, LH side base corner curve, as shown in the Gallery below. These could be concealed with the application of the correct colour Colonnil Cream, at the discretion of the Buyer, however this has been reflected in the price.

A light, hairline scratch to the upper LH side of the base, extending half way across the base from the corner to the middle. Extremely hard to see without angling to view, there is also a vague, small, diagonal fingernail scratch to the upper RH side, as shown.

A very light, inverted semi circular surface impression to the front flap, where the shoulder straps leather section has rested in storage. This will lift quickly with use.

Hardware, stitching, edging, embossing and shoulder strap all perfect.

The interior is clean and excellent throughout.
