Hermés Evelyne III TPM Mini 16 in White Taurillon Clemence with Two Tone Flame Feu Strap - SOLD

This is a 100% authentic Hermés Evelyne III TPM Mini 16 in White Taurillon Clemence with Two Tone Flame Feu Strap.

Crafted from a pure White, (no cream tones), evenly grained & supple hide with shiny Palladium silver hardware and contrasting orange and white, two toned, webbed strap.

The baby of the Evelyne family, (think phone, keys and small purse!) this classic messenger bag is the ideal super-compact, hands free Hermés.

The Evelyne was named after Évelyne Bertrand, who was the head of Hermès’s riding department. Designed in 1978 to carry grooming equipment, (the perforated H was designed to enable air to enter the bag to dry the equipment)... and were originally sold in stores alongside other equestrian goods!

 Details -

The purest white of white tones, this stunning piece (so rare to find in this colourway) is in a beautiful condition throughout.

No colour transfer, no immediately visible wear, well shaped and without close inspection looks barely carried.

As is inevitable with use however, there are the lightest colour rubs (not wear) to the corner curves and a small scuff to the front, LH side curve underside, (see zoomed photo above).

A small, light, diagonal fingernail scratch to the lower RH side of the leather clad prestud popper closure, as shown.

A little, yellowish dot to the stitching on the leather end of the shoulder strap, immediately below the 'N' in France and also to the front top, RH side trim, (over the penultimate stitch and the top stitch by the D ring). Shown in close up detail above, to the naked eye this is barely visible.

As is commonly seen on these pieces, there is minor inking, (edge sealent) crackling to the top two, aperture sides, where the D ring sits, from the motion of the bag.

D rings are excellent and strap clips display light surface scratches from contact.

The webbed strap is clean, bright and beautifully striking with only extremely light surface ruffling.

Self lined in clean, soft, gently ruffled suede.
