Beautifully glossy, perfectly shaped with puffy quilting and gleaming, rich gold hardware, this Chanel Icon needs no introduction.

Details -

The exterior of this stunning piece is in an Excellent condtion.

Firm, the form is unsoftened and without creasing or decompression. The colouration is the inkiest black and all stitching is in place and tight.

No wear, the corners and flap edges display the very slightest smoothing to grain if you have a magnifier. No rubbing, scuffing or scratches whatsoever.

The interlocking CC clasp shows only miniscule hairline scratches, again invisible to the naked eye and the leather and chain interwoven shoulder strap is similarly excellent, (and feels absolutely beautiful ....just that perfect weight).

A curved, diagonal scratch to the underside metal plaque / plate to the upper RH corner, as shown. The base staff is excellent without paling, dints or issue.

The reason for the 'Very Good' condition rating is due to the surface impressions to the smooth black lambskin lining of the inner flap and the light fingernail scratches to the interior front slip section. The surface impressions extend from the LH side to the middle area and have been caused by the zip header resting in different places on the hide in storage, (which can be prevented by the use of a felt sheet between the two, from when the bag is new). Less visible that they appear in the photographs, the appearance can be improved with professional restoration.

A small dot sized scuff to the burgundy leather trim on the top interior aperture trim of the RH side, (see zoomed photo). The remainder of the burgundy leather lining is excellent throughout.
